Everybody’s favourite pair of jeans eventually come to an end, or do they? A New York company called Denim Therapy can help them go on and on and on. How it works is that once you’ve worn holes into your jeans, you post them to Denim Therapy, who assess the damage and let you know what the cost of the repairs will be. Once your jeans have had therapy (which takes about 2 weeks), they’re shipped back to you, as good as new worn in, but without the holes. Therapy involves reconstruction of the denim by replacing undesirable holes with new cotton fibres woven into the fabric and comes at an estimated cost of $7 per inch.
