Whether you’re planning your own green “grand design” or a bit of a fix-up of the old suburban semi, take in the Big Green Home Show for some big green ideas and advice. The show is being held at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre (makes sense!) from 13th – 18th November 2007, and is anticipated to provide eco-inspiration to self-builders and renovators from all walks of life. Yes, it’s no longer obligatory to be an eco-warrior to warrant carefully considering the ecological impact of your building ventures, it has become imperative for all of us to think about how we are going to preserve this planet for future generations.
So, what’s on offer? There’s the opportunity to win £50,000s worth of eco-prizes, meet eco-celebs, you’ll even be able to design an eco-house on the spot with the help of a CAD designer. There will be green builders on hand to chat to, demonstrations of greener building materials and the possibilty to get all your questions answered before you launch your big green project.
The cost of attending the show is £8 for a single ticket, or £12 per ticket-for-two.
