The weeks are just flying by now as we head towards the end of the year. Here are my picks from some of my favourite blogs from the past week:
- Google Wants Cheap, Renewable Energy. Like, Now. at Mashable.
- Climate Change – an alternative approach at The Oil Drum: Europe.
- The average British office worker uses 35L of water during the working day, 86% of which via water closets (WCs or toilets) and urinals, and the average British citizen uses 150L of water per day or 70% more than they did 30 years ago at EnviroStats!
- Bel-Air at dezeen.
- Over Christmas in the UK, nearly 3 million tonnes of waste are dumped, a fair chunk of the UK’s annual 10 billion plastic bags are used, most of the 8 to 9 million Christmas trees bought will end up as landfill, a load of turkeys from Brazil and an estimated 16,000 tons of Christmas dinner will be thrown out in the garbage at EnviroStats!
