Some of you may remember that last year we asked if you would like to be part of the BBC’s Climate Change Experiment. Many thousands of people took part and the BBC revealed the results of the experiment in a programme on BBC 1 last night, Climate Change: Britain Under Threat. David Attenborough, Kate Humble and Matt Allwright presented the findings and looked at the solutions to the problems that we all face. We were shown snapshots of the future of Britain in 2020, 2050 and 2080, and saw how we will be up against not just increasing temperatures, but also increased risks of flooding. If you missed the programme and would like to know the results, have a look at the BBC website, or you can order a free 12-page fold-out guide containing information, practical advice, striking images and opportunities to take the subject further by studying related courses from the Open University by calling 0870 942 1342.
