Oil giant Shell is offering a cash boost to small businesses who are responding to the challenge of climate change. If you see climate change as a business opportunity and think that your product or service can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, you can apply for a Shell Springboard award.
There are up to 6 awards of between £20,000 and £40,000 up for grabs in each of the 3 UK regions (North, Central and South). Judges are looking for a business plan for a product or service that will lead to greenhouse gas reductions, is innovative and commercially viable.
Awards will be made in early 2007 and the deadline for applications is midnight on Friday 10th November 2006. Full details are available on the Shell Springboard website.
