I’ve just discovered the UK government’s new Act On CO2 carbon calculator via Gareth Kane’s Eco-Living blog. I liked it, it’s easy to use and seems to include a fair bit more than some other calculators that I’ve used before. Gareth agrees that the calculator is swish and easy to use, but points out that it doesn’t include factors like food, clothing and waste.
What I liked about the government’s carbon calculator:
- Comparison of your carbon emissions against national average.
- Comparison of your carbon emissions against target average.
- Option to work out your personal or household emissions.
- A personalised action plan to reduce your carbon emissions.
- An optional automated email reminder.
