Trevor Baylis (the inventor of windup technology) and Dick Strawbridge (the moustachioed tinkerer from BBC2’s It’s Not Easy Being Green) this week launched a nationwide search for the next big thing in energy efficiency. Trevor and Dick are part of the Powergen Energy Lab judging panel who will sift through entries from potting shed inventors, entrepreneurs, pensioners and students to find the invention that will win the prize of getting to work with the LIFE incubator – a state of the art support service for the development of clean energy technologies – and receive a package worth up to £50,000 of support and advice to help get their idea into production.
If you’ve got a bright idea, it could be you! There are full details of how to enter on the Powergen Energy Lab website.
