Progress on alternative energy is difficult to keep up with. I will attempt to keep abreast of new developments in energy conservation here. Combating global warming won’t get off the ground if we don’t know what to do on an individual basis. I want to see changes made, I want to feel we are all doing our part. I’m making all my Christmas cards this year, making several gifts and the rest will be either fairtrade or second hand (obviously good quality almost new second hand but that’s not too difficult to find!).
I have been doing the homemade gifts every year.
All of us (friends) are required to make a gift for each other not only because it is green but sentimental reasons also.
My family always make handmade gifts for each other at Christmas - it’s great because it eliminates souless present lists and you never know what you’re going to get (except I sort of cheat because I handmake organic skin care for a living so everyone knows what they’re going to get from me!).
