Whether nipping from office to meeting, or getting home after a night on the town, Londoners can now take a cab without putting more pollution into the atmosphere. Thanks to GreenTomatoCars, a new “minicab” service operating in the UK’s capital, you can pay the same fare, travel the same journey, and be helping the environment, just by choosing to travel with them. How do they do it? Simple really, GreenTomatoCars run a fleet of Toyota Prius hybrid vehicles that emit less than half the amount of carbon dioxide than an ordinary black cab does, and they offset any emissions that they do produce by planting trees with Climate Care.
