Here’s a new way to freecycle. On Green Gonzo you can search for what you need where and when you need it. It’s a bit like eBay, except everything is being given away for free. The aim of the game being to reduce waste and promote the re-use of goods and materials, with the desirable byproduct of lots of good will being spread by all the free giving and receiving.

GreenGonzo is really good! I have so much stuff which I have always meant to give away but have been unable to! If this catches on it could really benefit the environment.
[…] A great new idea has emerged: Green Gonzo. Billing themselves as the eBay of the sustainable world–except that everything is free–GG’s initiative is to reduce waste and promote the re-use of goods and materials. Currently located in the U.K., but looking to potentially move internationally, you can register your town and start the giving (and getting)! I guess this is similar to ‘Craig’s List’ here in the U.S. but with greater emphasis on recycling. From the site, “By giving and receiving freely we not only spread the spirit of good will, but also help to save this planet’s precious resources and ease the burden that our refuse places upon the environment.” Groovy idea–and one I hope makes it here to the U.S. eventually.
