Christmas is over and what are you going to be doing with all of those old Christmas cards? According to recycle now 1 in 5 people just throw their Christmas cards in the bin.

This year you can help the Woodland Trust by recycling old Christmas cards before the end of January 2006. Take them to Tesco supermarkets or high street branches of WH Smith.

By recycling your old Christmas cards you will be keeping 22,000 tons of card out of landfill, raising funds for the Woodland Trust, and saving trees for future generations.*

  • We all agree, it’s lovely getting a hand written Christmas card from friends and family. And even better when the card is home-made (and made from recycled bits and pieces).

In this day and age it’s expected for businesses to send out tens of thousands of impersonal printed Christmas cards to their clients and suppliers. Most of it just ends up in the bin. What a waste!

There is another way!… businesses can save trees and reduce waste by opting for a an Ecard. They are fun and entertaining and the money saved can be reinvested in the company or better still be donated to charity.

Ecards are the ultimate eco-friendly christmas card.
