The fact that world governments decided to invest money and time into researching nuclear energy instead of renewable, safe options is very very frightening indeed.

		<description>Tony Blair says that the 30% fuel defecit predicted for the future cannot be made up entirely with renewable energy. BUT if the 'throw away' attitude of today was stopped, renewables would easily be the solution as energy demand would be drastically reduced. Blair should be putting money into recycling schemes, education and energy reduction, NOT nuclear power.</description>
