Not sure what Jeremy Clarkson would make of this, and not sure whether I care either. I do know that my diesel family car gets far better mileage than these hybrids, I average about 45mpg in town.

  • I have a ‘99 Mitsubishi model that gets 45mpg city / 60mpg highway. Seems like progress has moved backward. None of the ‘08 model “environmentally friendly” hybrids today can touch this.
