250×250.gifThere’s a new website for UK lovers of local and ethically produced food called Free Range Review, and it operates on the “by the people, for the people” principle. You can find out what others think of your local producers, and leave your reviews for others to find. In reality, it’s a more sophisticated form of “word-of-mouth”, and a boost for local producers in these times when community has become disjointed and many people can’t be bothered to find out about local food, opting rather for the easier supermarket option.

If you’ve never tried really local food, head over to Free Range Review now to find out what you’re missing. And if you’re already a local food enthusiast, let others know where to go in your locale. This is one of those sites where the more people participate, the better it gets. So what are you waiting for?
