When we forget to turn off our PCs, we waste energy! Here’s a way of making energy savings easier.

Even though PC power consumption is a small fraction of total energy use, it is still big enough to be a contributory factor. Local Cooling is our contribution to the fight against global warming. It’s a way for the PC user community to come together and make a difference today!

  • Make sure you don’t forget to turn off your computer completely when you’re not using it. Since most electronics are still ON even when they aren’t, you have to either unplug it, or turn off a physical switch to truly cut down your power usage.
