I’ve been using Biocare bathroom cleaner for around six months. It’s the best eco-friendly bathroom cleaner in my opinion (I’ve tried a few) and certainly one that handles limescale without fail, which was where I feel that some products that I’ve tried in the past have fallen down. It contains tea tree oil for germ-busting and hygienic cleaning of the toilet seat and rim. The smell is not too overpowering, and doesn’t leave you coughing and wheezing. I’m very happy with this product, and would happily recommend it. I buy Biocare bathroom cleaner at Sainsburys and haven’t seen it in any other supermarkets.
Please leave a comment if you know of any other places where you can buy it.

Tracey - what a great find! It’s better that my attempts at using vinegar, baking soda, and lemons.
I really enjoy reading your blog and have just recently decided to focus my blogging efforts from generic secular, eco-socialist rants to a more useful series of practical posts helping others to become “everyday activists”. I plan to post the first of these in the next week or so and would welcome your feedback!
Keep up the good work.
Rob
