Jazz up your outside space this summer with these bright and light eco-friendly garden accessories.

Reclectic LanternsAdd a splash of colour and ambience to your garden with these eclectic recycled lanterns. They’re made from the waste and recycled materials from aerosol and drinks can manufacture in India. The designers of the lanterns found that factories that print on sheet metal to make aerosol and drinks cans have a certain amount of misprinted pieces and that these remnants lent themselves perfectly to repurposing for these ethnic looking home accessories. Aren’t they gorgeous? Each lantern holds a standard votive candle or tea light.
From ECOutlet, £16.95 plus delivery. For a more environmentally friendly option, you can buy Soy Tea Lights to burn with the lanterns. The Soy Tea Lights are natural, biodegradable, paraffin-free, non-toxic, GM-free, sustainably sourced and handmade in the UK.

Solar Rope Lights For outdoor decorative eco-lighting, try these solar powered rope lights. They’re designed especially to work with the British climate so there’s no need for concern about them not working with our lack of strong sunshine, and once fully charged they’ll shine for 3 days without any further charging. They come with either 40 red or 40 yellow lights.
From Nigel’s Eco Store, £22.49 plus delivery.

Weavers Nest LanternThese bright glass weaver’s nest tea light or candle holders are inspired by weaver bird’s nests, and perfect for providing some magical light in the garden at night. Hang in the surrounding foliage when you’re entertaining, or suspend them from a pergola. They come in olive, fuchsia, aqua and tangerine, with curled strips of nickel delicately wrapped around glass to create a fabulous shimmer effect. Ambient light reflects off the nickel and a warm glow emanates from the tea light.
From Fairwind online, £10.00 plus delivery.

Rainbow HammockRelax in one of these robust 100% cotton handmade hammocks. They’re from Brazil, where they are skilfully made in the traditional way. A hammock is the perfect way of making your garden a sanctuary in which to unwind. The pictured Barbados Double Hammock Extra wide is perfect for two to share or great if you really want to stretch out. It has a load capacity of 160kg.
From Natural Collection, £49.95 plus delivery.
