		<description>If it is announced now it is not the worlds first.

I have used dimmable Low Energy Bulbs on an ordinary dimmer at homefor a while now. 

So at least in Sweden they have been availible before.

The one you can dim on an ordinary switch was intresting though.

A pair of groves in the base and a tool similar to a pair of slotted screwdrivers would do it.  The tool would have to bridge the part of the florescent tube that crosses the middle of the bulb.</description>
