The TREE-ATHLON 2006 is a three-part event raising funds for tree planting in the bleaker parts of the UK’s cities and elsewhere in the world where trees are needed. To take part you need to run 5kms, tell the world what your urban tree wish is, and plant your own tree from seed.

Registration is now open for the LONDON TREE-ATHLON being run in Battersea Park on the 23rd September 2006 and the MIDLANDS TREE-ATHLON in Cannock Chase Forest on 14th October 2006 where you can join like the likes of Alistair McGowan and Diarmuid Gavin to run for the trees!
