AnInconvenientTruthStillAl Gore’s movie about climate change has been nominated for an Oscar. The film is in the running for best Documentary Feature.

According to the Associated Press Gore is “thrilled” about the big nomination and reportedly said in an e-mail statement that it “has brought awareness of the climate crisis to people in the United States and all over the world… I am so grateful to the entire team and pleased that the Academy has recognized their work. This film proves that movies really can make a difference.”
